Cub Swanson

Cub Swanson is a professional mixed martial artist from Palm Springs, California. He has competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) since 2011 and is considered one of the best featherweights ever to step into the octagon. Born on November 2nd, 1983, Cub Swanson started his career in MMA by competing at local shows in southern California before eventually making his UFC debut in 2011 against Mackens Semerzier at UFC on Versus 4.

Swanson made an immediate impression with his entertaining style, quickly earning him a spot as one of the promotion’s top contenders. Since then he has gone 5-3 inside the octagon and rattled off impressive victories over notable names such as Dennis Siver, Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier along with former champions Jeremy Stephens and Frankie Edgar. His most recent win came against Artem Lobov at UFC Fight Night 108 where he handed Lobov his first loss via unanimous decision after five rounds of intense action.
