Billy Quarantillo

Billy Quarantillo is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He began his career as an amateur in 2013 and made his professional debut in 2014. Since then, he has accumulated a solid record of 14-2-0 and is currently on a four-fight winning streak.

Raised in Palm Coast, Florida, Billy Quarantillo was drawn to MMA from an early age. As a kid he watched UFC events with his older brother Robert, and when he became old enough to start training himself at 16 years old, he did not hesitate. In 2013 Quarantillo made his amateur debut with Seminole Warriors Cagefighting where he went 4-1 before turning professional the following year with Titan FC where he won all three of his fights via TKO or submission.

In 2016 Quarantillo signed with another promotion known as CES MMA which saw him win five consecutive bouts against various opponents including fighters like Bill Jones Jr., Kyle Bochniak and Tyler Combs amongst others. After gaining some recognition for holding multiple titles under CES MMA banner simultaneously (which included becoming their Featherweight champion), Billy decided to try out for The Ultimate Fighter 22: Team McGregor vs Team Faber season; although it didn’t work out at first due to injuries sustained leading up to the show tapings they eventually were able to get him back on board as one of two alternates given are special circumstances surrounding them being unable to make weight due too short notice changes.. Despite not making it into the tournament proper nor competing on any Season 22 televised events other than filming pre fight videos for media purposes, this experience gave Billy valuable exposure that helped further boost his career prospects going forward should things didn’t pan out within TUF setting itself during time spent there .

Finally after several more impressive wins outside of TUF under regional promotions such DWCS & LFA respectively , Billy was granted entry into UFC organization by Dana White himself citing strong performances witnessed earlier during trial period prior signing contract which took place Thanksgiving Eve 2019 – whereby competed successfully against Matt Wagy earning unanimous decision victory night . Currently 0-1 inside octagon but still have plenty promise/potential moving forward representing team Alpha Male/10th planet Jiu Jitsu camp , so long story short if you’re looking new exciting lightweights give guy chance prove why belongs here !
