Norma Dumont is an up-and-coming Brazilian mixed martial artist and UFC fighter. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1995, Norma has been training since she was just a young teen, having started at the age of 15. She soon developed her skill set and began competing professionally as an amateur MMA fighter before turning professional in 2012.

Dumont got her start on the local circuits of Brazil before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships (IFC) in 2013 where she quickly made a name for herself. After four successful fights with IFC, Dumont signed with the UFC and made her promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 140 against Leslie Smith back in 2018. She ended up winning that fight by unanimous decision which earned her performance of the night honors by The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3 Finale.

Since then, Dumont has gone on to compete regularly within the UFC’s women’s bantamweight division where she currently holds a record of 5 wins and 1 loss overall inside the octagon. Some of her notable victories include wins over Sarah Moras and most recently against Erin Blanchfield via split decision at UFC Fight Island 7 earlier this year (2021). With each win, Norma’s stock continues to rise as one of the top prospects in women’s MMA today due to her unique combination striking prowess combined with well rounded grappling skills from takedowns to submissions making it very difficult for opponents to prepare for each fight without facing unexpected surprises from Norma during every match-up .

Outside of fighting for world titles within the cage or ring , Dumont also works very hard setting goals outside using social media platforms such as Instagram – @normadumonufc – promoting physical fitness exercises while also inspiring others through motivational messages about pursuing their dreams no matter how hard they may seem . This work ethic reflects how toughNorma is both mentally and physically whether it be while preparing leading up to each fight camp or getting ready afterwards through recoverying processes that are essential when trying to stay healthy between bouts regardless if they are being televised or not .

Ultimately , Norma’s pure passion towards becoming one day become champion motivates not only herself but those around who admire what she does day after day striving towards reaching beyond any limitations that come along way proving anything is possible if you put your mind into achieving greatness despite whatever circumstances may arise . As such , we can look forward seeing more exciting performances from this Brazilian powerhouse in 2021 !
