Danyelle “The Claw” Wolf is an American mixed martial artist and Professional Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter. She was born on December 30, 1985 in San Francisco, California. At the age of 18 she began training in Muay Thai while attending City College of San Francisco, before transferring to California State University East Bay to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.

In addition to her academic pursuits and martial arts training, Danyelle also worked as a personal trainer with aspirations of becoming a professional MMA fighter. Upon graduating college she pursued that dream full-time and quickly established herself as one of the top female mixed martial artists on the West Coast. In 2011 she earned her first professional fight victory at Gladiator Challenge: Throwdown in Paradise 8 winning via unanimous decision against fellow Californian Silvia Lopez. This win would prove to be just the start for The Claw who went on to rack up an impressive 13-4 record over the next four years competing both nationally and internationally including a stint with Invicta FC from 2013-2015 where she went 4-1 fighting some of women’s MMA biggest names like Peggy Morgan and Raquel Pennington who are now currently under contract with UFC.

In 2017 Wolf signed with UFC after making it through tryouts during season 26 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). On October 28th 2018 she made her official debut at TUF 27 Finale defeating Kristin Mack by unanimous decision which earned her “Fight Of The Night” honors despite being outmatched size wise due largely to her superior technique . Since then Wolf has gone 2-2 inside octagon having competed twice more in 2019 taking wins over Miranda Granger at UFC 238 & Ariane Lipski at TUF 28 Finale earning another bonus for Performance Of The Night . Her most recent loss came against Mariya Agapova via submission due to strikes this past June 2020 at Fight Island 3 Abu Dhabi . Despite recently missing weight for her last fight , Danyelle “The Claw”Wolf remains one of most exciting fighters watch inside octagon !
