Aspen Ladd is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight division. She first began her fight career in MMA at the age of 15, under former UFC fighter and mentor Urijah Faber. Since then she has gone on to become one of the top contenders in her weight class.
Born on April 28th, 1995, Aspen was raised near Sacramento, California along with two siblings. Growing up, she cultivated a passion for sports such as volleyball and track & field; however by far her favorite activity was kickboxing which helped shape her into becoming an elite athlete early on. After graduating high school she had already begun competing professionally in smaller promotions around Northern California before joining Team Alpha Male with Urijah Faber as her coach/mentor.
In 2018 Ladd made a huge statement when she signed with UFC after winning four straight fights over that period of time – all by stoppage – against notable opponents such as Sijara Eubanks and Pannie Kianzad respectively. Her debut fight took place against Leslie Smith at The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale where she won via TKO due to punches within round one – further extending her unbeaten streak to five victories since turning pro back when she was sixteen years old!
Shortly after this win came a battle with Julianna Pena which resulted in defeat via unanimous decision; however Aspen would come back strong and take down both Tonya Evinger and Macy Chiasson shortly thereafter using armbar submissions each time proving herself yet again as one formidable force inside octagon walls!
At just 25 years old now it’s safe to say that Aspen Ladd is far from done showing what she can do inside cage or ring – no matter who gets put opposite of her – committed not only fighting but training hard enough so nobody ever questions heart behind every single action taken during competition either! With skill set combination based off striking accuracy combined defensive grappling alongside cardio conditioning few people will be able stand chance against prowess displayed by this young woman making sure world knows exactly why they should fear coming across name “Aspen Ladd” next time looking through list upcoming fighters out there…
