Ailin Perez is a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Born in Mexico City, Mexico, on August 16th 1994, Perez grew up loving combat sports. She began her martial arts journey at age 10 when she started training in Judo and Taekwondo. Later on, she transitioned to MMA and made her amateur debut as a teenager.

Perez knew that if she wanted to make it big in the sport of MMA she would have to train hard and push herself to be better every day. After impressing coaches with her determined attitude and natural talent, Perez quickly rose through the amateur ranks before turning pro shortly after graduating from high school. In 2015, she signed with Invicta FC and made her professional debut against Andrea DeLa Cruz-Colucci at Invicta FC 17: Evinger vs Schneider. Despite losing the fight via guillotine choke submission, Perez showed determination throughout the match which earned her praise from fans around the world.

In 2018, following an impressive four-fight winning streak under both LFA and Combate Americas promotions, Perez was signed by UFC where she took part in The Ultimate Fighter 28: Heavy Hitters tournament in November 2018 alongside other fighters such as Macy Chiasson and Pannie Kianzad among others. As one of five chosen finalists for TUF 28 women’s featherweight division title shot at UFC 245 Pay Per View event against Germaine de Randamie on December 14th 2019., Ailin won this inaugural title with a unanimous decision victory over de Randamie which earned Ailin “Performance of The Night” bonus along with $50K prize money USD apart from being crowned first ever female featherweight champion inside TUF cage!

Since then Ailine continued competing regularly under UFC banner & has most recently fought Katlyn Chookagian , current No 1 ranked Women’s Flyweight contender & Jennel Lee – former challenger for flyweight championship belt . Despite fighting highly technical & experienced opponents , Ailin put up strong performances defying odds many times over leading some experts dubbing her “Mexican Wonder Woman” !

Outside Octagon , Ailin focuses extensively on helping upcoming young girls break into competitive sports specially Mixed Martial Arts . She believes anyone willing to commit can achieve greatness regardless of background or gender . With years of experience working closely with various charities across globe providing support for vulnerable kids , it’s no surprise why more & more young aspiring athletes look towards inspiring figure like hers while pursuing their dreams!
