Ciryl Gane is a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Heavyweight division. He was born on October 22, 1988 in the small town of La Seyne-sur-Mer, located in the Southeast region of France. Growing up, Gane had an interest in combat sports and martial arts, which led him to begin training at 14 years old.
Gane initially trained under Serge Teyssier and Cesare Manfredi for six months before finding an affiliation with Team Golden Glory based out of Amsterdam. With them he would travel to countries such as Thailand and China in order to further his development as a fighter; from there he returned home to compete on French regional circuits. During his time competing locally Ciryl amassed seven wins with no losses leading up until 2014 when he made his professional debut against Gael Grimaud at IFB Fight Night 7: Made In France 2.
In 2017 Gane made a move from traditional Muay Thai over into MMA by signing with Brave CF where he compiled two victories before joining UFC’s roster in August 2019 alongside Thomas Almeida; it marked Ciryl’s official arrival onto the world stage within MMA competition ranks as an undefeated prospect holding 6 consecutive wins dating back prior to his appearance within UFC 240 (his promotional debut).
After impressing Dana White enough during his fight camp prepping for UFC 243 that year, Gane was then awarded Performance Of The Night honors following a hard fought decision win against former title challenger Mark Hunt while being officially named “The French Glaive” due continual usage of powerful strikes throughout each round – something that displayed confidence yet also great respect for danger one can encounter inside cage walls.
Already seeing success since joining UFC roster under three years ago now; Ciryl has continued adding notable wins over renowned opponents such as Alexander Volkov (at UFC 254) & most recently Tanner Boser earlier this month at UFC Vegas 21 – pushing him higher towards top rankings among heavyweight fighters worldwide today all while continuously displaying excellent technical traits seen only few possess across any weight class surely turning heads both casual/core fans whom alike admire high level talent they witness each night live or via pay per view platforms without fail exhibiting what champions are made off every chance given featuring well deserved spotlights circulating around sport media outlets today nonstop serving examples inspiring new generations nowadays interested taking part competitive environments compared decades past when overall popularity used struggle gaining traction attempts grow exponentially far beyond anyone’s imagination possible previously setting trends entire populations follow religiously eventually becoming global phenomenon we experience present day remaining relevant forevermore impacting future generations come continuing provide excitement entertainment audiences worldwide seek again again!
