BIOGRAPHY

Jairzinho Rozenstruik is one of the hottest names in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) today. The Surinamese-born heavyweight fighter has quickly made a name for himself in the UFC with his electrifying performances inside the octagon. Born on April 14, 1988, Rozenstruik was raised in Paramaribo, Suriname and began his martial arts journey at an early age as he trained under famed kickboxing coach Cor Hemmers. After having a successful career in kickboxing, Rozenstruik transitioned to MMA full time and debuted professionally on February 28th 2009.

After having an impressive 11-0 record while competing mainly in Japan’s Shooto organization and Venator Fighting Championship, Jairzinho signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on May 7th 2019. He made his debut against Junior Albini at UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs Munhoz where he won by TKO due to punches with just four seconds remaining of round two. His next fight came against Allen Crowder where he again won by TKO due to punches just thirty-nine seconds into round one which earned him Performance of the Night honors from the UFC brass and endeared him to fans around world instantly!
