Alistair Overeem is a Dutch former mixed martial artist and kickboxer born May 17, 1980, in Hounslow, United Kingdom. A heavyweight for much of his combat-sports career, he became known as “The Demolition Man” and built a rare résumé across MMA and kickboxing. His championship achievements include the Strikeforce heavyweight title, the DREAM heavyweight title and the 2010 K-1 World Grand Prix; he also challenged for the UFC heavyweight championship.
