Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant is one of the most talented NBA players in history. He was born on September 29th, 1988 in Washington D.C. As a child, he attended National Christian Academy and Oak Hill Academy before deciding to join the University of Texas Longhorns basketball program as a freshman. During his time with the Longhorns, Durant led them to an Elite Eight appearance during his freshman year and was named college player of the year that same season. After two years at Texas, he declared for the 2007 NBA draft where he was selected second overall by Seattle SuperSonics (now Oklahoma City Thunder).

Durant’s rookie season saw him average 20 points per game while making an impact on defense as well with 1.3 blocks per game being good enough for third place among rookies that year despite only playing 28 minutes each contest; this earned him Rookie Of The Year honors from both The Associated Press and Sporting News voting bodies . In his sophomore campaign , Kevin increased his production even more—averaging 25 points ,posting 4 rebounds ,and dishing out 3 assists per contest — earning himself a spot in the All-Star Game where he also won MVP honours due to his performance there as well .
