Grayson Allen Bio
Grayson Allen is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted in 2018 with the 21st overall pick by the Utah Jazz. Raised in Jacksonville, Florida as a military family, Grayson had a passion for sports from an early age and attended Providence School before joining Duke University’s Blue Devils basketball team.
Throughout his four years at Duke he exhibited tremendous athletic ability, becoming one of only two players to record 1,000 points and 400 assists over that period. During his senior year he became known nationally when leading his team to their fifth national championship win over Wisconsin in 2015. His performance during this game was incredible, earning him MVP honors as well as being named ACC Player of the Year and consensus All-American First Team honors that same season.
Following college graduation Grayson began playing professionally with various teams across Europe until eventually being picked up by the Salt Lake City Stars of The G League—the NBA’s official minor league organization—in 2019. During this time he earned an invitation to join Team USA at FIBA World Cup Qualifiers where they won all eight games; Grayson played exceptionally well throughout these qualifiers, something which did not go unnoticed back home resulting in him being called up to play for the Memphis Grizzlies later that same year.
Since joining Memphis he has quickly become an integral part of their lineup due largely to his determination and tireless work ethic on and off court; always eager to learn more about developing himself further as a player while also embracing being part of such a historic franchise like Memphis–ultimately contributing towards them entering post season playoffs last season before losing out against Portland Trail Blazers 4-2 series loss–he continues working hard toward helping them reach NBA finals again soon! Furthermore away from playing professionallty many have noted how down-to-earth Griffin is often involving himself with local charities or community events whenever possible –notably hosting annual Toy Drives each Christmas time within surrounding communities near where ever team plays!
In conclusion it’s clear why many have came admirer what Grayson has achieved so far both on court action wise but also personally too outside sport–his humbleness & commitment towards giving back something inspirational others should aspire achieving!
