BIOGRAPHY

Jack Hermansson is an accomplished mixed martial artist, who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s middleweight division. Born in Sandefjord, Norway on June 10th 1988, he began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 16 and became a black belt by 22. After having some success competing in regional promotions like Superior Challenge MMA and Art of War, Jack was signed to the UFC in 2016.

Since then he has had nine fights with six wins and three losses (one decision loss), making his current record 20-5 overall. He wonPerformance of the Night honors for his knockout victory over David Branch at UFC Philadelphia back in 2018. This win also earned him Fight of The Night honors alongside Branch later that same year when they had their rematch at UFC 230 which ended with Jack winning via unanimous decision.

His most recent fight was against Marvin Vettori atUFC Fight Island 3 last July 2020 where heput up a great performance but lost by split decision after five rounds; this gave him is first defeat since 2017 (a submission loss to Thales Leites). His only other two losses have come from former World Champions – Derek Brunson via TKO backin 2017 and Gegard Mousasi via submission way backin 2014 when Jack just started out as a professional fighter.

Outside the cage, Jack likes to stay active either running or cycling during his free time and enjoys spending some time fishing as well; he stilllives near Sandefjordwhich provides plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like these during summertime! He also likes listening to music while cooking – oneofhis favourite dishes being salmon steak cooked on high heat with lots of butter!
