After graduating from college with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration, Jared enlisted into the Air Force and served four years as an aircraft mechanic while stationed at Eglin Air Force Base located near Fort Walton Beach Florida where he would later fulfill his MMA dreams after being discharged from active duty status.

In 2010 Jared made his amateur debut winning by second round TKO over John Troxell Jr., during that same year he went 2-1 as an amateur . In 2011 Cannonier made the transition to professional MMA where he fought for regional promotions such RFA (Resurrection Fighting Alliance) and Titan FC(Titan Fighting Championships). During this time he compiled an impressive record of 8 wins 2 losses going 5-0 under RFA promotion alone including notable wins over UFC veterans David “Bulldawg” Mitchell & Thiago Santos via submission within first rounds of their respective fights!

In 2015 Cannoner received call to make move up weight classes when signed by big league promotion UFC , this became even more special moment because it marked return back home state since signing took place part of Alaska card held one month later October 3rd 2015 His opponent was promotional newcomer Shawn Jordan whom cannonier defeated via first round knockout just shy two minute mark thus successfully making long awaited octagon debut! Upping stakes again jared accepted fight against former Heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski June 4th 2017 event held Stockholm Sweden.. Unfortunately jared lost bout unanimous decision but still gaining lot respect fans for taking matchup against one most decorated heavyweight fighters age!. Since then cannonier have gone onto compete 13 total bouts inside octagon securing victory seven them thus becoming mainstay middleweight rankings presently ranked five hundred fifty nine pound class .

Overall Jared Cannoniers career has been quite fruitful since entering worlds premier organization steadily improving each performance having recently finished three Fight Night main events out last fourOctagon appearances – all while inspiring many not only through athleticism but motivation story itself. It clear that sky limit future endeavours awaiting former air force technician now turned ferocious contender Cage fighting Top Promotions world wide!!
