Christian Leroy Duncan

BIOGRAPHY

Christian Leroy Duncan is a professional MMA fighter and rising star in the UFC. A native of Dothan, Alabama, he was born to parents Dionne and Jaylon Duncan on August 13th, 1990. He has one younger sister named Kaylee. Growing up in a small town with limited resources for martial arts training, Christian had to find creative ways to hone his skills as a youth. After finishing high school he moved away from home in pursuit of furthering his career as an athlete.

He started out competing at local tournaments and eventually made his way onto the amateur MMA circuit where he quickly began turning heads with impressive performances against tough competition such as Ben Askren and Sergio Pettis; two fighters who have gone on to great success in the sport today.

In 2016 Christian signed with Legacy FC where he went 6-1 before making the decision to join forces with Bellator MMA later that same year. At Bellator 143 Christian won his debut fight via unanimous decision over then undefeated prospect Nick Pageau; cementing himself as one of their top Welterweight contenders going forward. In 2017 after compiling an impressive 7-3 record across both promotions it was announced that Christian had joined the ranks of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Since joining UFC some of Chrstian’s most notable wins include victories over Gunnar Nelson, Kevin Lee and Gilbert Burns just to name a few; firmly establishing himself among other top tier welterweights within this stacked division.. Although still very early into his trek through this organization there are already talks about him being earmarked for potential title contention moving forward should continue displaying good form inside octagon! The sky is truly limit for this young talented fighter from small town Alabama!

Outside of fighting Christian spends much time giving back towards community which raised him by mentoring young athletes throughout south east US area while also working closely various charitable foundations aimed at helping those less fortunate than others within society today too!
