Denis Tiuliulin

Denis Tiuliulin is one of the most successful mixed martial artists in history. He currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s light heavyweight division, where he has earned a record of 19-2-1. Born and raised in Russia, Tiuliulin began his MMA career back in 2002 competing mainly on local circuits with some bigger shows mixed into his schedule as well. He quickly rose up the ranks and captured titles at numerous promotions while primarily remaining based out of Russia.

In 2010, Tiuliulin made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 21 against Karlos Vemola that resulted in a victory via unanimous decision. After five more wins over great competition such as Ryan Bader and Alexander Gustafsson, Denis was awarded a shot at then champion Jon Jones for the title bout taking place at UFC 165. Although he put up an inspiring effort it wasn’t enough to take home championship gold as he lost by TKO due to punches from Jones after suffering from broken orbital bone earlier during their fight which caused him severe vision problems before the finish could be declared.

Despite this setback, Denis continued fighting under the UFC banner and went on to win six consecutive fights including victories over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Glover Teixeira and Quinton Jackson thus putting himself right back into title contention again until another unfortunate injury forced him away from active competition for almost two years now since late 2016 when he was last seen defeating Ilir Latifi by split decision inside octagon cage walls during Fight Night 94 event held goin Texas United States .

Currently residing alongside his family near Moscow city ,Tiuliulin continues training regularly while awaiting another call from promotion officials although no exact date is scheduled yet . With excellent ground game abilities combined along with solid striking prowess already showcased multiple times against top level opposition ,there’s no doubt fans will get opportunity witness another memorable performance once ‘The Sibearian Warrior” returns for sure !
