BIOGRAPHY

Sedriques Dumas is a professional mixed martial artist from the United States. He fights in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) and has been competing since 2005.

Dumas was born in Miami, Florida, on August 21st 1984. He began training in mixed martial arts at a very young age, when he joined his father’s gym at the age of 14. It was here that he developed an interest in MMA and began attending classes regularly with his dad and friends.

Dumas made his professional debut as an amateur fighter at 18 years old and won his first three bouts via unanimous decision or technical knockout (TKO). After going 4-0 as an amateur fighter, Dumas decided to turn pro in 2005 and began training with American Top Team Academy. Over the next few years he racked up some impressive wins over notable opponents such as Alexey Oleynik, Fabricio Werdum, Miguel Angel Torres and Subaury Quebedeaux; all but one being by knockout or TKO finishes! This earned him instant recognition among fans of MMA worldwide.

In 2009 Sedriques signed a multi-fight deal with Strikeforce where he went on to have several impressive performances against fellow fighters such as Chad Griggs, Mike Whitehead and Jeff Monson; winning them all by either TKO or submission finishes which further increased his reputation among fans of MMA worldwide! He also gained notoriety for being able to fight effectively despite suffering serious injuries during many of these fights including broken bones & ligament tears – showing just how tough this athlete really is!
Duffy continued fighting until 2016 when he retired due to complications caused by various injuries that had accumulated over time while competing professionally at the highest level possible – something only achieved by truly elite athletes like himself!

Throughout his career Sedriques has proven himself to be one of the toughest competitors around and has amassed quite a following amongst fight fans who admire him for not only for skill & courage but also for never giving up no matter how difficult things get inside & outside of competition! Outside of fighting & coaching others professionally Dumas enjoys spending quality time with family members including wife Rosalie Lopez-Dumas who herself is also involved within sports media – hosting her own TV show “Sports My Way” which features similar combat sport athletes from around USA sharing their stories about overcoming adversity through sport .
