BIOGRAPHY

Caio Borralho is an elite MMA fighter and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt hailing from Brazil. He currently competes in the UFC’s Featherweight division and has a professional record of 15 wins, five losses, and one draw.

Borralho began training in martial arts at the age of 12. Initially he trained capoeira, but soon switched to jiu-jitsu as it was more suitable for his style of fighting. Under the tutelage of Master Andre Galvao, Borralho quickly rose through the ranks to become a world champion in both gi and no-gi grappling competitions at brown belt level.

After winning multiple tournaments on the Brazilian circuit, Borralho decided to turn his attention to mixed martial arts (MMA). In 2009 he made his pro debut with a TKO victory over Diego Menezes at Jungle Fight 10. Over the next few years he continued piling up victories competing primarily in Brazil’s regional circuits before eventually signing with the UFC in 2016.

In February 2017 Borralho made his official UFC debut against Godofredo Pepey at UFC 208 where he picked up a split decision win that earned him Fight of The Night honors along with $50k bonus money from Dana White himself during post-fight interviews inside Octagon cage! This win put him on everyone’s radar as one of top prospects coming out South American region into biggest stage combat sports world has seen so far – Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). After getting off to an impressive start inside Octagon cage by picking up two wins out three fights overall including back-to-back performances against Renato Moicano & Johnny Eduardo respectively; Caio faced off against Jeremy Stephens during main event night one action packed International Fight Week this past July 2018 which unfortunately resulted loss via KO only 1:28 round 2 after some heavy exchanges front these two mixed martial artists who were determined prove themselves best entering this bout all way until unfortunate conclusion ended fight too soon for everyone involved! Nevertheless Caio still remains highly recognizable name amongst avid fans sport today whose appreciation towards this young athlete continues grow each passing day!
