BIOGRAPHY

Karol Rosa is a Brazilian mixed martial artist currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s bantamweight division. She made her professional debut in 2016, and has since gone on to become one of the most promising young athletes in MMA today.

Rosa grew up in Brazil, where she was inspired by fellow countryman Anderson Silva’s success as an MMA fighter. At 18 years old she began training Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Diego Sampaio at RMA gym, which soon sparked her interest for the sport. She went on to compete at amateur events throughout South America before making her professional debut in March 2017 against Ariadne Castilho under XFC 25: Inferno 5 banner. She won that bout via second round TKO, launching her career into high gear from there on out.

In 2018 Karol signed with Invicta FC and competed three times for them, winning all three bouts by submission or decision including a first round armbar over Katharina Lehner to become Invicta’s bantamweight champion of their Phoenix Series event that year. After this impressive performance she quickly earned endorsements from major sponsors such as Reebok and Monster Energy Drink while garnering international attention amongst hardcore fight fans around the world due to her aggressive yet strategic fighting style inside the cage combined with an enthusiastic persona outside it; making Karol an ideal contender within both women’s divisions of MMA alongside other rising stars like Cris Cyborg and Amanda Nunes who have also made names for themselves thanks to their long list of impressive victories over opponents thus far – adding more fuel to UFC President Dana White’s vision that “Women will be some of the biggest stars now more than ever!” This eventually led Karol signing onto The Ultimate Fighter 26 finale card where she fought Gillian Robertson standing off toe-to-toe with the American warrior until succumbing after being rocked by vicious elbows late into third round resulting in a TKO defeat – however despite it would not deter Karol from continuing toward reaching greater heights within UFC instead motivating her further even though just recently announcing retirement due personal health issues preventing full time competition nonetheless hoping stay close enough still working behind scenes helping teammates family members & friends reach successes they deserve all while paving way future generations female fighters come through shadows their predecessors creating legacies their own…
