Pannie Kianzad is a professional mixed martial artist who has been competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) since 2018. She started her mixed martial arts career at the age of 17 and has since earned several championship titles, including Cage Warriors Women’s Bantamweight Champion, Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion, and TUF 28 Women’s Flyweight Finalist.
Kianzad began training in Taekwondo when she was just nine years old and competed for many years before joining MMA. She made her amateur MMA debut in 2012 and later turned professional with Danish promotions like CSA Denmark promotion where she won her first-ever title in 2014 as the Cage Warrior Female Feather Weight Champion. From there she continued to compete across Europe until August 2018 when she signed with UFC; making her promotional debut against Ketlen Vieira at UFC Fight Night 135: Gaethje vs Vick. Despite losing this fight via unanimous decision Kianzad was impressive on that night and solidified her spot on the roster.
Since then Kianzad had gone on an impressive run inside the Octagon; managing three straight victories over Sarah Moras, Lina Lansbergand Jessica-Rose Clark earning herself two ‘performance of the night bonuses’ along the way. Inasmuch as these victories are appreciated by fans around world however, none were more significant than her win over former Invicta FC champion Tonya Evinger which earned Pannie a one-year contract extension from the UFC earlier this year.
Outside of competition Kianzad is also highly active within various non-profit organizations such as “My Fight For Change” – a charity organization aimed at helping children achieve their goals through sports; serving as both ambassador for My Fight For Change as well being an advocate for women’s rights across Middle East countries like Iran where female participation in sport remains heavily restricted due to cultural norms .
Overall Pannie Kaindaz stands out amongst other fighters not only because of success inside cage but also due to humanitarian efforts outside it – thus proving that you don’t have to be a champion to make an impactful contribution towards sports industry or society in general
