Chase Edmonds

Chase Edmonds is an NFL running back for the Arizona Cardinals. He was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on April 3rd, 1997. Chase played his college football at Fordham University where he quickly became a standout player and was named to the All-Patriot League team three times. In 2018, Chase declared for the NFL draft and was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 4th round of the draft as a running back.

In 2019, Chase earned his first chance to start for the Cardinals due to injuries sustained by David Johnson and Kenyan Drake. He made good use of this opportunity leading all active rushers with 126 rushing yards against San Francisco 49ers in week 11; additionally he also had 72 receiving yards which set a career high that same game. His performance over those two weeks earned him NFC Offensive Player of Week 12 honors from The Associated Press making him just one of two players from Fordham University ever to do so

In 2020, Edmonds continued building on his success from 2019 as he had 554 rushing yards with five touchdowns along with 279 receiving yards and four touchdowns through eight games before becoming injured ending his season early with an ankle injury. Despite being hampered by this injury Edmonds finished second only behind Kyler Murray in total offensive yardage gained for Arizona that season while helping them reach their first playoff appearance since 2015 .
