Bogdan Bogdanovic

Bogdan Bogdanovic is an NBA player currently playing for the Sacramento Kings. He was born on August 18, 1992 in Belgrade, Serbia to parents Miodrag and Olga. A natural competitor from a young age, he started training at the prestigious Partizan Youth Academy as a teenager and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of Serbia’s top basketball players by the time he was 16.

He entered the 2014 NBA Draft but withdrew his name shortly before and was instead taken by Turkish team Fenerbahçe with whom he would spend three seasons honing his craft. During this period of time, Bogdanovic became one of Europe’s most promising stars and won two EuroLeague championships in 2016 and 2017 respectively in addition to being named EuroLeague MVP during both those years.

In 2017, Bogdanovic declared himself eligible for that same year’s NBA draft whereupon he was selected 27th overall by Phoenix Suns but his rights were then traded to Sacramento Kings which is when he signed a three-year deal worth $27 million with them; becoming their first European drafted player since Hedo Turkoglu who had been drafted all way back in 2000. In October 2018 after adjusting well to life playing under Dave Joerger’s system – averaging 11 points per game over 48 appearances during his rookie season – it became apparent why Sacramento invested so heavily into him as they opted not extend his contract until 2022 thus cementing his future within their organization moving forward. His impressive form has seen him earn recognition from coaches league wide prompting many pundits believing that All Star selection may indeed be around the corner for him if continues developing along similar trajectory .
