BIOGRAPHY
Trevin Giles is a professional MMA fighter from Houston, Texas. He began training in martial arts at the age of 17 and has since become one of the most exciting prospects to come out of the city.
Giles made his debut for Bellator MMA in 2017 when he faced Ryan Couture on short notice. Despite being an underdog, he put on an impressive performance and won via submission in the first round. After that fight, Trevin went on to win four more bouts under Bellator’s banner before signing with UFC in 2018.
Since then, Giles has faced some tough competition inside the octagon and holds a record of 11-3 with 8 wins by stoppage (5 knockouts, 3 submissions). His biggest victory came against Antonio Arroyo at UFC Vegas 5 where he stopped him via TKO in Round 2. As a result of this win, Trevin was awarded Performance Of The Night honors alongside Josh Emmett who knocked out Shane Burgos earlier that evening.
In addition to his fighting career, Trevin is also active outside of it as well. He regularly teaches grappling classes at American Top Team Houston and makes time for other activities such as basketball or fishing whenever possible too! Aside from teaching martial arts to others though, Giles also participates in philanthropic efforts throughout his home state like donating school supplies or serving food at homeless shelters during holidays – something which speaks volumes about his character off camera as much as it does inside the cage!
All things considered; Trevin Giles is quickly becoming one of the faces associated with Mixed Martial Arts both within Texas and beyond its borders – thanks largely due to his entertaining style both inside & outside the ring/cage respectively!
