Niko Price is an American mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He has been fighting professionally since 2013 and has a professional record of 15-4. He is well known for his aggressive, never back down style of fighting which has earned him several victories in some very competitive fights.
Born on December 16th, 1988, Niko Price grew up in South Florida and developed a passion for Mixed Martial Arts from an early age. As a child he was involved in multiple sports such as baseball and football but was drawn to MMA because of its physicality and strategy. In 2011 he attended South Florida’s American Top Team where he sharpened his skills before turning pro just two years later.
Since then, Niko Price has competed against many notable names in the sport such as Vicente Luque, Alan Jouban and Tim Means to name a few. In 2017 he made his UFC debut at UFC 211 against Jorge Masvidal where he earned himself a fight night bonus with an amazing performance that saw him come out victorious via TKO due to doctor stoppage between rounds 2 & 3 – earning him his first win under the promotion’s banner!
After this impressive showing Niko Price went on to put together 6 more wins consecutively before suffering a setback after facing Geoff Neal at UFC Fight Night 142 which ended up being ruled as no contest due to an illegal knee strike by Neal during their bout which had already seen both men exchange blows back & forth throughout all 5 rounds – leaving fans wondering what would have happened if it hadn’t been called off by the referee when it did! Despite this minor incident though, Niko still remains one of the most exciting fighters on any given card – bringing fans plenty action packed battles with every performance! Moreover, following these past outings The Floridian fighter now holds an overall professional record standing proud at 15-4 (1NC) .
Outside of competing inside The Octagon however Niko also leads quite active recreational lifestyle; having interests within motorcycling & Brazilian jiu-jitsu amongst other activities that enable him stay fit not only for competition purposes but also just for fun too!
