Alex Morono is an American Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He began his MMA career in 2010 as an amateur and made his professional debut just two years later. Since then, he has become one of the UFC’s most promising young contenders with a record of 16 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw.

Morono was born on December 27th 1987 in Houston, Texas. Growing up he showed an aptitude for combat sports from a young age and even won several local competitions before turning pro at 19-years old. After turning pro Alex continued to compete locally for another couple of years where he built up a solid resume winning 7 out 10 fights before getting signed by Legacy FC (Legacy Fighting Championships).

After 3 successful fights in Legacy FC, Morono made the jump to UFC in 2015 where he debuted against Kyle Noke at UFC Fight Night 65 laying down an impressive victory via unanimous decision. From there it only got better as Alex went on to win 4 more consecutive bouts which included notable names such as Niko Price and Max Griffin among others all via decisions or submissions.

Not satisfied with just making waves within the organization, Alex decided to take things a step further by claiming a huge upset when faced off against former interim Welterweight champion Carlos Condit at UFC Fight Night 183 going on to secure yet another split decision victory giving him 8 wins inside of the octagon. His last fight was against Zak Ottow which resulted in yet another unanimous decision win pushing him into double digits victories within the promotion having also been awarded 2 fight night bonuses along with being nominated for ‘Performance Of The Night’ twice throughout his time so far In UFC .

At 33-years old Alex Morono is still very much active inside The Octagon looking to prove himself even further and make more history riding through 9 different weight classes throughout his career thus far proving that age is not always necessarily relevant when it comes to fighting . With fights lined up this year we can expect nothing but great performance from this veteran warrior who shows no signs of slowing down while aiming towards achieving higher goals such as main eventing PPV cards or becoming champion one day soon !
