BIOGRAPHY

David Zawada is a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was born in Germany on October 26, 1989 and began his training as an amateur MMA fighter at the age of 16. After competing for multiple regional promotions, he signed with the UFC in 2018.

Zawada started out his combat sports career practicing judo at 9 years old before transitioning to MMA when he was 16. He debuted as a professional MMA fighter in 2006 and went on to compete across Europe for various organizations such as Cage Warriors, KSW and MFC until signing with UFC in 2017. Throughout his career, David has racked up 14 wins and five losses against some of the top names in European MMA such as Pawel Mikolajuw, Michal Andryszak & Borys Mańkowski

In 2018 he made his debut against fellow newcomer Danny Roberts at UFC Fight Night 134 where he won by first round submission due to a rear-naked choke. This win immediately placed him into contention for more high profile matchups which saw him face off against Jesse Taylor at UFC Fight Night 142 later that same year where again he emerged victorious this time via decision after three rounds of hard fought action.

2019 saw Zawada take part in multiple fights both inside and outside the octagon including bouts vs Łukasz Sajewski & Diego Ferreira while also taking part of grappling tournaments such as ADCC Poland Trials 2020 and Grapplers Quest Berlin 2019 however none were quite popular or successful enough to keep him within public view until August 2020 when it was announced that David will be facing Ramazan Emeev at UEFA Fight Island 6 event scheduled for 17th October 2020 on Yas Island Abu Dhabi UAE . The fight saw David lose via unanimous decision bringing his record within UFC currently standing at 1-3 but nonetheless still undefeated outside of it making him one of only few fighters capable performing so well despite being relatively unknown outside German circuit .

Outside fighting , David is known for having an active life style thanks mostly because of combination between healthy dieting , running , weight lifting that combined with constant attendance seminars related not only sport but also management have helped shape handsome young man’s future path towards becoming one if not most promising middleweight fighters out there right now . With all those achievements described above it’s no surprise that recently we could hear news about Polish promotion KSW looking forward to sign already established star from Germany showing how far one can go when they stay true their dreams despite obstacles ahead .
