Robbie Lawler is a decorated mixed martial artist and one of the most successful fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Born on March 20, 1982 in San Diego, California, he began training at an early age and was already competing professionally by his late teens.

Lawler’s professional career began in 2001 when he made his debut with Extreme Challenge 41. He quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the top contenders in the welterweight division. Known for his aggressive style and powerful punches, he earned himself a number of titles during this period including two separate stints as King of The Cage World Welterweight Champion and three consecutive wins as IFC Champ. In 2002, Lawler signed with UFC where his success continued to grow. Over time, he earned four more championship belts; two from EliteXC Middleweight Championship and each from Strikeforce Welterweight Champion & UFC Welterweight Champion (Title held twice).

Throughout his career Lawler has faced some of MMA’s toughest opponents such as Georges St-Pierre, Carlos Condit and Rory MacDonald among others; all which have added up to make him one of the most respected names in combat sports worldwide. As well as being a fierce competitor inside the octagon Robbie has also been praised for embodying respect outside it too – often showing great humility towards opponents whether they be winning or losing battles against him or simply just going toe-to-toe during promotional events or interviews etc.

Robbie’s total fight record currently stands at 29 victories compared to 14 defeats; making him one of MMA’s top earners over recent years due partly to sponsorship deals but mostly because of title defence earnings associated with different promotions that have come along since 2001 right up until present day – something that no other fighter can boast! In addition to this however is Robbie’s reputation amongst fans; who regularly visit arenas around America & beyond just so they can witness ‘Ruthless’ Robbie Live! A true testament indeed to what dedication + hard work really looks like…

In recognition for all these achievements throughout 2019 Robbie was inducted into the UFC Hall Of Fame – becoming only its fourth member alongside Randy Couture Royce Gracie & Ken Shamrock respectively – an accomplishment which marked yet another milestone achieved within this journeyman’s stellar career!
