Mayra “Sheetara”Bueno Silva

Mayra Bueno Silva is a Brazilian mixed martial artist from Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. Born on August 22, 1991, she is listed by the UFC at 5 feet 6 inches tall with a 66.5-inch reach. As of September 21, 2026, the UFC identifies “Sheetara” as a women’s bantamweight and lists Team Sheetara as her training team. Her UFC profile remains active, although its status field says “Not Fighting.”

Bueno Silva began her professional career in 2015 and earned a UFC contract by submitting Mayana Kellem on the Brazilian edition of Dana White’s Contender Series. She made her Octagon debut in September 2018, submitting Gillian Robertson with an armbar. After beginning her UFC tenure at flyweight, she moved to bantamweight in 2022 and immediately showed that her combination of forceful striking and opportunistic grappling translated to the heavier division.

Her bantamweight rise included submission victories over Stephanie Egger and Lina Lansberg.
