Maycee “The Future”Barber

Maycee Barber is an MMA fighter out of Greeley, Colorado. She is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Maycee has been training in martial arts since she was a child and has quickly moved up the ranks to become one of the top female fighters in the world.

After high school, Maycee attended Adams State University before transferring to The Citadel Military College of South Carolina for her sophomore year. There, she graduated with an associate degree in health services administration and continued to pursue her passion for fighting. In 2018 she began her professional career with 8-0 record competing on regional circuits before signing with UFC in 2019.

Since joining UFC, Maycee has been quite successful as a featherweight fighter winning five straight bouts including a victory over former champion Carla Esparza at UFC Fight Night 166: Blaydes vs Dos Santos back in December 2020 which earned her “Performance of the Night” honors from the promotion. After this bout, many experts have labeled Maycee as one of the rising stars amongst female MMA fighters who could potentially challenge reigning Featherweight Champion Amanda Nunes down the road.

Outside of fighting, Maycee also runs an online fitness program called FitByMayCee which offers personalized nutrition plans and workout routines tailored towards individual goals like weight loss or muscle gain based on your current body type and lifestyle habits. She also gives nutritional advice on how best to fuel your body during a fight camp or when you’re preparing for a competition or event such as powerlifting meets or grappling tournaments – something that not many other fighters offer their fans & followers alike!

Furthermore, MayCee established herself as an inspirational figure by launching #GrowTheGame initiative back in March 2021 alongside fellow MMA star Michelle Waterson – both women work together raise awareness around sexism & gender inequality within combat sports through various seminars/workshops as well educational campaigns targeting young girls from underprivileged communities across America who aspire to become professional athletes someday too!
