BIOGRAPHY

Julian Erosa is an up-and-coming mixed martial artist and professional fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Born on March 19, 1989 in Yakima, Washington, Erosa was introduced to MMA at a young age by his father who had trained as a boxer. He began training with his family in their home gym before eventually joining Team Quest and Upstream MMA.

At the age of 18, Erosa made his pro debut against Tyson Cunningham at Caged Combat 2. After winning that fight via guillotine choke submission, he went on to win three more fights leading up to The Ultimate Fighter 22 tryouts where he earned himself a spot on the show. During TUF22 finale night, Erosa was given an opportunity to showcase his skills against Marcin Wrzosek and walked away victorious with a decision victory.

Erosa then signed with UFC and fought twice: once against Teruto Ishihara for UFC Fight Night 97; and then against Jason Knight for UFC Fight Night 112 which resulted in another victory for him via unanimous decision. His last fight so far has been against Sean Woodson at UFC 238 which ended with Julian’s hand being raised after 3 rounds of domination from both fighters but it was ultimately Julian who took home the win via split decision from the judges scoring cards.

After some time off due to injury related issues throughout 2019 Julian is now back for 2020 looking forward to getting back into action this year competing inside the octagon across multiple events planned out through 2021 provided all goes well! Outside of fighting Julian loves camping and spending time outdoors while not training or working out during free times such as weekends when no fights are scheduled!
