Cory Sandhagen is a professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter in the bantamweight division. He was born on June 20, 1992, in Aurora, Colorado and began MMA training at the age of 18. After his debut fight in 2013, he quickly established himself as a top-tier fighter.
Cory quickly moved up the ranks, winning notable fights against UFC veterans like Chris Holdsworth and Johnny Bedford. In 2016 he made his debut in the UFC with a win against Iuri Alcantara at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale. Since then he has continued to impress fans with his skills inside the cage, defeating notable opponents such as John Lineker and Michael McDonald.
Outside of fighting Cory is an avid outdoorsman enjoying activities such as hunting and fishing whenever possible. He also works hard to stay fit and healthy by eating good food and training regularly at Core Fitness Center in Denver Colorado.
In 2019 Cory achieved a milestone when he became the first fighter from Colorado to be featured on a UFC PPV main card event, when he faced Jimmie Rivera at UFC Fight Night 150. His performance won him a Performance of the Night bonus award and propelled him into stardom within the MMA community.
