Zamir White is an American football running back who currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He was born on June 11, 1999 in Laurinburg, North Carolina. He attended Scotland High School where he was a two-time All-State selection and twice earned Offensive Player of the Year honors in his junior and senior years. In 2018, he committed to play college football at the University of Georgia (UGA).

At UGA, White played for legendary head coach Kirby Smart. During his freshman season with the Bulldogs, he ran for 1,037 yards and seven touchdowns on 123 carries before suffering a season-ending ACL tear against Auburn. After recovering from surgery, White earned a starting spot as a redshirt sophomore but suffered another ACL tear four games into the 2020 season that ended his college career after just three seasons.

White declared for the 2021 NFL Draft following his second injury at UGA and was selected by Atlanta Falcons with 36th overall pick in Round 2. It marked only third time since 2015 that a running back has been drafted within top 40 picks by Falcons franchise; this move united White with one of league’s most dynamic offenses featuring QB Matt Ryan along with WRs Julio Jones & Calvin Ridley .

After playing well during training camp but missing preseason games due to minor injuries , White made regular season debut against Seattle Seahawks Week 1 in 2021 NFL Season ; despite limited snaps ,he contributed significantly as team rushed 26 times for 186 yards while gaining 593 total offensive yards . While it remains to be seen how long it will take him to reach full potential as professional athlete , there is excitement around what Zamir can bring to table when fully healthy . His physical style also fits perfectly into offense that emphasizes power run game & play action passes -a key component in Mike Smith’s system which he hopes will help Atlanta reclaim title as NFC powerhouse & make playoffs again soon . So far things have looked promising for young RB out Laurinburg ,but only time will tell if he can live up expectation placed upon him by fans organization alike .
