Albert Wilson Bio
Albert Wilson is a former NFL wide receiver who played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins from 2014 through 2021, with a later Minnesota Vikings offseason stint in 2022. The NFL lists him among retired players, with his professional playing period ending in 2022. He is not identified as a current NFL player or team employee as of October 2, 2026.
Born July 12, 1992, in Florida, Wilson attended Port St. Lucie High School and Georgia State University. At Georgia State, he established himself as an explosive wide receiver and return specialist, earned conference recognition, and became the first player from the program invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. He measured 5 feet 9 inches and was known for exceptional speed and playmaking ability in space.
Wilson entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Kansas City in 2014. He later signed with Miami in 2018, where his quickness, route running, and ability to create yards after the catch complemented his role as a versatile offensive weapon. He opted out of the 2020 season because of COVID-19 concerns, returned to Miami in 2021, and signed with Minnesota in June 2022 before his contract was terminated on August 22, 2022.
