Mattison’s hard work paid off when he was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft – the 102nd pick overall. His NFL debut came in the 2019 season in a game against the Atlanta Falcons. Throughout his rookie season, Mattison showcased his potential as a future star, with impressive yardage on his runs and eye-catching plays. He played 13 games and finished his rookie season with 462 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Mattison’s most notable performance to date came in the 2020 season against the Detroit Lions, where he rushed for 112 yards and had two receptions. He ended the 2020 season with 516 rushing yards and one touchdown.
