Tre’von Moehrig-Woodard, a professional American footballer, hails from a small community in Spring Branch, Texas, located north of San Antonio. Born on June 16, 1999, this star athlete plays the pivotal role of safety for the Las Vegas Raiders, a prominent team in the National Football League (NFL). His path to professional football was carved from his high school days to his time in college, and eventually blossoming into his career in the NFL.

Moehrig-Woodard, as he is known on and off the field, was part of the Smithson Valley High School football team in his home state of Texas where he played as a cornerback and receiver for the Rangers. Alongside his passion for football, he was also an ardent track runner, mastering the ability to balance his enthusiasm for sports with his academic pursuits.

Before graduating high school, Moehrig-Woodard declared his commitment to play college football at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas. These accolades underscored his capabilities, winning him the 1st team All-Big 12 award, a noteworthy recognition in college football.

As he transitioned into his junior year in 2020, Moehrig-Woodard experienced heightened recognition and earned prestigious titles from key organizations. Renowned publication, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, named him the top defensive back in Texas. Additionally, Pro Football Focus, an authority in football analytics, listed him as the nation’s top returning safety. He was further recognized as a preseason All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, sealing him as a force to be reckoned with in the present and the future.

The next phase of Moehrig-Woodard’s journey led him to the NFL. In the 2021 NFL draft, he was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders in the second round, and 43rd overall. His continued excellence in this new playing field again brought him into the spotlight. He officially signed on with the Raiders on a four-year rookie contract on June 21, 2021.
