Place a Wager on Kenneth Gainwell

Kenneth Gainwell is a young and talented professional NFL player. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi on November 13th, 2000. Growing up in the south, Kenneth developed his love of football early on. He attended Forest Hill High School where he began to make a name for himself as one of the top running backs in the state of Mississippi.

His senior year saw him become highly sought-after by college recruiters all over the country due to his impressive stats and playmaking ability. Ultimately choosing to accept an offer from Memphis for their football program, Kenneth spent three years with them before declaring for the 2021 NFL Draft.

During his time at Memphis, Kenneth became known as a dual-threat athlete with both rushing and receiving capabilities which saw him become one of the most productive players in school history; recording two 1,000+ yard seasons along with 21 total touchdowns during that span. His athleticism also earned him First-team All AAC honors back-to-back seasons (2019 & 2020). Furthermore he was voted team captain for his final season and led all FBS freshman running backs in receptions during that year (2019).

After making an eye catching impression at both Memphis Pro Day as well as The Senior Bowl this past January 2021 it wasn’t long until Kenneth was selected by The Philadelphia Eagles with pick 145 overall during round 5 of said draft later that same month – becoming only their second ever true freshman selection since 1990 after wide receiver Freddie Mitchell who coincidentally also had come out of Memphis himself almost 20 years prior!

Despite being projected initially as more of a change–of–pace type back/receiver hybrid due to size concerns (5’10 189lbs) , many experts now see Kenneth having potential 3 down workhorse capability within Philadelphia’s backfield given current COVID uncertainty affecting starters Miles Sanders & Jordan Howard while Jarod ward may be moved primarily into slot role based off early camp evaluation reports .Given tremendous upside potential ,KG could very well prove rookie doubters wrong come fall!

Thus far throughout training camp plays have been made but we must wait until regular season commences next month September 12th against Washington Football Team before real assessment can be drawn regarding how much playing time/impact KG will have moving forward so stay tuned!
