Currently a free agent, Bledsoe has touched the heights of fame in his relatively short career and is someone who has always managed to turn heads towards his outstanding performance in the field of football.
Bledsoe was born and raised in Spring, Texas, where he attended Dekaney High School. It was here, on his high school’s lush green field, that his budding football skills began to bloom. Playing safety, cornerback, and running back, Bledsoe proved himself to be a versatile and powerful football player. It was this versatility and passion that earned Bledsoe a spot at the University of Missouri where he committed to playing college football.
From 2017 to 2020, Bledsoe graced the Missouri football field, leaving behind a physical and statistical footprint that few could ignore. His rigorous college football career witnessed a multitude of accomplishments, the most significant among them being accumulating 130 tackles, a well-deserved interception, and a solitary sack spread out over a whopping 46 games. Strength, dedication, and exceptional skill translated into these remarkable numbers, forming the part of his career that escalated him to the professional realm.
In the year 2021, Bledsoe was ushered into a new dimension of his life when he was selected by the celebrated football team New England Patriots during the sixth round of the NFL draft. The promising player was picked overall at 188th, marking the beginning of his professional journey. Soon after being drafted, Bledsoe signed a four-year rookie contract on May 13, 2021, signifying his commitment to enhancing the Patriots’ performance.
On July 21, 2021, at the onset of the training camp, Bledsoe was listed on the active/non-football injury list. Entering the season, he was placed on the reserve list. However, his spirits remained high and unchanged as he was activated on December 14. Unfortunately, on his birthday, December 30, he was placed on the injured reserve due to a calf injury.
