Nelson Efamehule Agholor, a professional football wide receiver currently playing for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League (NFL), was born on May 24, 1993, in Lagos, Nigeria. At the tender age of five, Agholor and his family migrated to the United States of America.
Nurturing Agholor’s talents, Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida allowed him to hone his budding skills through playing running back, wide receiver, and defensive back for their football team, the Berkeley Buccaneers. His efforts were not in vain as Rivals.com, a sports recruiting website, rated him as a five-star recruit and even ranked him as the third-best wide receiver in his class.
In January 2012, he decided to take his talents to the University of Southern California (USC). He was an essential part of the team during his freshman year in 2012 where he played in all 13 matches. It was during his sophomore year in 2013 that he took up the starting position, showcasing his skills as the leading receiver and returning punts and kicks for the Trojans.
