Dameon Pierce

Dameon Pierce is an American football running back who entered the NFL after playing college football at the University of Florida. Born on February 19, 2000, in Bainbridge, Georgia, he attended Bainbridge High School before joining the Gators. Florida used him as a runner and on special teams, where he developed a reputation for physical play and dependable effort.

The Houston Texans selected Pierce in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 107th overall pick. Listed at 5 feet 10 inches and 215 pounds, he is a compact running back whose style emphasizes contact balance, acceleration through interior gaps and the ability to create yards after contact. He also demonstrated return ability during his time in Houston, including a kickoff return for a touchdown in the 2023 season.
