Blake Cashman, born on May 10, 1996, in the United States, is an accomplished professional in the football industry. He plays as a linebacker, one of the key positions in American Football and is currently enlisted in the Minnesota Vikings team, a member of the National Football League (NFL). His journey in the professional football world has been filled with a differentiated mixture of achievements, breakthroughs, and challenges.
Cashman started his career in football during his college years. He played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, who are recognized as strong contenders within the intercollegiate football arena. His commitment and skill in the game was recognized, and in 2019, he was selected by the New York Jets in the fifth round of the NFL draft.

Life threw another twist Blake’s way when he recorded an impressive 15 tackles, two for a loss, and two pass breakups in a 20-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints during Week 6 of the 2023 season. This milestone earned him the American Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week award.
The game during Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals saw Cashman shifting to the Mike linebacker position due to the suspension of Denzel Perryman and Henry To’o To’o’s unavailability because of a concussion. Cashman’s performance was unprecedented. He recorded a career-high of 19 tackles, including 13 solo, along with two quarterback hits, leading the team to secure a 21-16 victory.
