Bisi Johnson Bio
Olabisi “Bisi” Johnson is an American football wide receiver from Lakewood, Colorado. Born on March 17, 1997, he attended Bear Creek High School, where he captained the football team and earned first-team All-Colorado honors as a senior. He also competed successfully in track and field before choosing Colorado State University over reported offers from Army and Northern Colorado.
At Colorado State, Johnson developed into a productive receiving option and earned a reputation for reliability and big-play ability. His college career included a record-setting performance in the 2016 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, when he established the school’s single-game receiving-yardage record. Johnson completed his bachelor’s degree in hospitality management in December 2018.
The Minnesota Vikings selected Johnson in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft with the 247th overall pick. Listed at 6 feet and 210 pounds, he played primarily as a wide receiver and was noted by the Vikings for his football intelligence, preparation and attention to the playbook. Johnson’s verified NFL affiliation was with Minnesota through the 2022 season, when knee injuries interrupted his return to football.
