Dorian Finney-Smith is a professional basketball player who plays for the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA. He was born on May 8, 1993 in Portsmouth, Virginia, and grew up in nearby Chesapeake. After high school he played college basketball at Florida. During his four years there he started all 32 games as a senior and averaged 9.3 points and 7 rebounds per game throughout his career.

After graduating from Florida in 2016, Finney-Smith was selected number 55 overall by Orlando Magic in the NBA draft but was soon traded to Dallas Mavericks before playing any games with them.
