Austin Reaves is a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA) currently playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was born on August 23, 1997 in Waukegan, Illinois and grew up playing basketball from an early age. As a young athlete, he was heavily recruited by NCAA Division I schools and chose to play at Wichita State University in 2015.

During his collegiate career, Austin Reaves quickly made his mark as one of the best players in Wichita State’s history. He helped lead the Shockers to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances during his four-year career and earned All-Missouri Valley Conference honors each season of eligibility. His college career culminated with him being named First Team All-American following his senior season.
