Jordan Goodwin is an American professional basketball player currently playing in the NBA for the St. Louis Blues. Initially from Alton, Illinois, he was a standout high school athlete and played college ball at Saint Louis University. He was selected by the Blues as the 33rd overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft.

Goodwin had an impressive career with SLU, ending his senior year as both a first-team All-Atlantic 10 selection and Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year recipient for 2020–21 season. His stellar defensive skills were on full display throughout his collegiate career as he wore multiple hats, anchoring Saint Louis’ defense while averaging 9 rebounds per game over his four years in college and finishing second all time in blocks at Saint Louis (193).

Offensively, Goodwin has been described as dynamic—able to put up points from anywhere on the court including three-point range where he shot 34% during his time with SLU. On top of that versatility, Jordan also displayed impressive strength and athleticism that made him difficult to contain when driving to basket or rebounding off missed shots.

After being drafted by St. Louis last June, Goodwin signed with them shortly afterwards along with fellow draftee Lance Thomas who had been taken 30th overall out of Wyoming prior to Jordan’s selection at 33rd overall.. This past year saw Goodwin make significant improvements since joining St. Louis’ G League affiliate but unfortunately due to injury only play 23 games for them this season due primarily to a bone bruise suffered during Summer League play which kept him out until January 2021 when he returned after missing 28 consecutive games.. However now healthy again and ready for action give every indication that he will make big contributions going forward this season!

At 6’3″ tall and weighing 210lbs., Jordan is undersized at guard yet still effective due to combination of speed, shooting ability & defensive presence; making him versatile enough handle both backcourt positions if needed be .In addition ,as someone who prides himself on working hard off court too ,Goodwin has drawn attention & praise from teammates & coaches alike because drive & determination seen day in day out practice facility .It clear why considering style dedication lead newfound success !

Overall ,Jordan proven himself be reliable asset team since coming league fully intent contribute best way can – whether it providing clutch perimeter shots spark runs offense or locking down opposing guards defensively – something looks continue doing more often future . Now entering 2nd pro season ,it become apparent what type impact can have team determined take next step journey towards championship ring!
