Gregory “Robocop”Rodrigues

Gregory Rodrigues is one of the most accomplished and experienced Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters in UFC history. He has been competing professionally since 2010, when he started his career as an amateur fighter. Since then, he has gone on to become one of the top Light Heavyweight contenders in the world.

Rodrigues was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and began training Muay Thai at a young age. After winning several amateur tournaments, he moved to California where he trained with former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva at The Black House gym. It was here that Rodrigues developed his unique style of striking and submission grappling that would later be used to great advantage during his professional career.

In 2013, Rodrigues made his debut with Bellator MMA after signing a multi-fight deal with them prior to their purchase by Spike TV programming executives. During this stint with Bellator MMA, Gregory amassed four consecutive wins including two TKO victories against John Salter and Dave Jansen respectively as well as two submission victories over Carrington Banks and Virgil Zwicker both via Rear Naked Choke Submission technique which showcased not only his diverse skillset but also showcased a real killer instinct inside him which eventually earned him a call from the worlds premier promotion – Ultimate Fighting Championship or UFC for short .

Since joining UFC , Gregory has been impressive collecting four wins out of seven fights . Notable notable wins include Victories over Tyson Pedro , Tim Boetsch , Ed Hermann & Ryan Spann among others . His last fight saw him come up on the losing end against Da Un Jung At UfC Fight Night 153 but is expected to return soon as per reports from reliable sources in media outlets around the globe .

Though it may have taken some time before Gregory got noticed by major promotions like UFC ,his dedication , commitment towards martial arts and immense hard work paid off making him an elite level athlete competing amongst some of best fighters around world in arguably toughest combat sport out there – MMA !
