Dustin “The Hanyak”Jacoby

Dustin Jacoby is an American mixed martial artist and kickboxer who currently competes in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born on August 15, 1989 in Crest Hill, Illinois.

Jacoby began his martial arts training when he was five years old. He has trained at numerous gyms around the world including Tristar Gym in Canada, Phuket Top Team in Thailand and Sityodtong Muay Thai Academy in Thailand. Throughout his career, he earned recognition for various national and international championships in both kickboxing and MMA before signing with UFC. In 2019, he became a professional fighter by signing a four-fight contract with UFC that same year.

Since then, Jacoby has fought eight times under the UFC banner mostly against fighters from different weight classes ranging from middleweight to heavyweight divisions. His first win as part of UFC came against Justin Ledet at UFC Fight Night – Volkan vs Smith on July 18th 2020 via unanimous decision after three rounds of intense action where both fighters displayed their respective strengths and weaknesses throughout their match up till its conclusion where both fighters raised their hands simultaneously signifying another great fight between two warriors however it was Jacoby’s hand which got raised as victor later that night via judges’ decision after 3 grueling rounds were over leaving no room for doubt about how deserving Dustin Jacoby had been for this victory because throughout all three rounds he outclassed former opponent Justin Ledet displaying superior striking skills amongst other things prior to emerging victorious unanimously that night at Halifax Nova Scotia .
