Anthony “Lionheart” Smith is an American former mixed martial artist, born July 26, 1988, in Corpus Christi, Texas. A 6-foot-4 freestyle fighter, he trained in Omaha, Nebraska, and built a reputation for pursuing action-oriented fights that could unfold either on the feet or in grappling exchanges. Smith began training in 2006 and turned professional at 19. He did not attend college, describing fighting as his career from the start.

Smith entered the UFC as a middleweight, making his Octagon debut against Antônio Braga Neto in Fortaleza, Brazil, on June 8, 2013. He later established himself at light heavyweight, where a 2018 surge led to a challenge for the UFC light heavyweight championship against Jon Jones at UFC 235 in March 2019. Before the UFC, Smith held regional middleweight titles including the CFFC championship. His final UFC appearance came against Zhang Mingyang on April 26, 2025, and the UFC currently lists Smith as retired.
