Johnny Walker Bio

Johnny Walker is a Brazilian mixed martial artist competing under the UFC banner. As of September 11, 2026, UFC lists him as an active heavyweight, although his UFC breakthrough and much of his title history came at light heavyweight. The promotion lists him at 6-foot-5 with an 82-inch reach and identifies SBG Ireland as his training base. Walker earned a UFC contract through Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil in 2018 and made his Octagon debut on November 17, 2018.

Walker made an immediate impression in the UFC with a series of early first-round stoppages, including victories over Khalil Rountree Jr., Justin Ledet and Misha Cirkunov. His long frame, athleticism and unconventional striking make him a volatile stand-up threat; UFC coverage has highlighted his power at close range, low kicks and unpredictable attacks. In August 2025, he defeated Zhang Mingyang in the UFC Shanghai main event, while Dominick Reyes defeated Walker by split decision at UFC 327 on April 11, 2026. Walker’s listed pre-UFC honors include UCMMA and European Beatdown light heavyweight championships; he has not held a UFC title.
