Aleksandar Rakic is a UFC athlete from Austria who has taken the MMA world by storm since his professional debut in 2013. He currently holds a record of 14 wins and one loss, with 12 of those wins coming via knockout or technical knockout. The Austrian light heavyweight fighter is widely regarded as one of the most exciting and talented prospects in the sport today.

Rakic grew up in Vienna, Austria where he began training at age 16 under Muay Thai Trainer Günter Strasser at an MMA gym called Fight Club Vienna. From there he went on to compete as an amateur in various regional competitions before finally turning pro at age 20. His first major fight was against Michal Pasternak for M-1 Challenge title, which Rakic won by unanimous decision after three rounds back in 2014. From there things only got better as he continued to win fights against higher-level opponents while never losing any bouts along the way until facing Volkan Oezdemir in 2018 (a match which Rakic lost by split decision).

In 2019 Rakic made his UFC debut with a resounding win over Justin Ledet via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 154 in Stockholm, Sweden. He followed this up with another victory against Jimi Manuwa via TKO just two months later that earned him Performance Of The Night honors from the promotion due to its impressive nature. Since then Aleksandar has gone 2-0 inside the Octagon including a third round stoppage over Anthony Smith last June 2020 that saw him move into contention for a possible title shot if/when Jon Jones vacates his belt as expected soon enough.

It remains to be seen what lies ahead for Aleksandar’s burgeoning career but it’s clear that we are witnessing something special here – someone who is sure to make waves within years come thanks to their combination of skill, technique and pure talent both inside and outside of the cage alike; whether it’s fighting or simply being himself, Aleksandar Rakic looks set for greatness!
