Ke’Shawn Vaughn is an American professional football player who plays as running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of NFL. He played college football at Vanderbilt and was drafted by the Buccaneers in the third round of 2020 NFL Draft.

Vaughn attended Pearl-Cohn Entertainment Magnet High School in Nashville, Tennessee where he became a four-star recruit.His senior year team advanced to state semifinals due to his stellar performance that included rushing for 1,246 yards on 152 carries with 24 touchdowns en route to earning All-State honors as well as being named Mr. Football Back of the Year in Division IIAA. After high school, Ke’Shawn chose to stay close his hometown and attend Vanderbilt University over other offers from Auburn, Mississippi State, Louisville among others schools recruiting him.

At Vandy he started all 12 games during his freshman year and led Commodores with 907 yards rushing on 182 attempts (5 YPC) plus added five TDs while also adding 10 receptions for 95 yards out of backfield; averaging 4 kick returns per game (26 total) with long one going 33 yards which earned him multiple awards such as Freshman All-American First Team by USA Today/247Sports along with Second Team All Southeastern Conference honors by league coaches making him become one of team’s prominent leaders early on.
