Kellen Diesch, a well-renowned American football offensive tackle, was born on August 23, 1997. From his early youth and through his professional trajectory, he has shown his determination and dedication in the football field. A native of Texas, Diesch’s path to becoming a professional football NFL player was crafted conjoining his talent and hard work.

Diesch spent his youth in Trophy Club, Texas, where he found his love and talent for football. Attending the local Byron Nelson High School, he proved to be a prodigious player, contributing significantly to the school’s football team. Diesch’s passion and prowess for the sport only bloomed as he advanced into his college career.

His keen interest in football led him to enroll at Texas A&M, a reputed university with a pawerful football program. The young player decided to redshirt his freshman year, an intelligent decision to maximize his potential and expand his learning curve in the field. Over the next three seasons, he played mostly as a reserve. However, motivated to evolve his game, he decided to leave Texas A&M after his redshirt junior year, intending to transfer to another program.

An exciting new chapter in his life unfolded when Diesch transferred to Arizona State University (ASU) as a graduate transfer. His move to ASU turned out to be a positive step in his football career as he quickly ascended to a starter position. Leveraging the extra year of eligibility granted to college athletes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Diesch decided to stay with Arizona State for a second season. His skill and dedication earned him significant recognition as he was named second-team All-Pac-12 Conference in his final season.

Diesch’s journey into the professional football circuit started when he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Miami Dolphins on April 30, 2022, soon after the 2022 NFL Draft. His tenure with the Dolphins ended as he was waived in August later that year. However, this setback was short-lived, as the next day he was signed to the Chicago Bears practice squad. Though his stint with the Bears also ended prematurely when he was waived again in August 2023, Diesch remained patient and perseverant.

The following month, Diesch was signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad and later secured a reserve contract on January 9, 2023. His brief but valuable tenure with the Steelers lasted until he got waived on May 13, 2024. Only one day after being waived from the Steelers, the Cleveland Browns claimed him off waivers. Unfortunately, his tenure with the Browns ended abruptly within two days due to a failed physical designation.

In August 2024, Diesch’s career experienced another shift when he was signed by the New England Patriots. Still, his tenure with the Patriots was sadly brief as he was waived in the same month. Throughout his struggles and shifts among teams, Kellen Diesch is an emblem of resilience and persistence. Despite the challenges that surfaced, Diesch remains an inspiring professional player, dedicated to mastering his game in the football world.
